Tamil-language gangster film written and directed by Pa. Ranjith. The film features Superstar Rajinikanth as Karikaalan “Kaala”, Huma Qureshi and Nana Patekar in the lead roles. The film is produced by Dhanush under the banner of Wunderbar Films. Music director Santhosh Narayanan has composed the soundtrack for this movie, while Murali G handles the camera. The film revolves around Rajinikanth’s character, who runs away from Nellai/Tirunelveli in his childhood to Mumbai and becomes a powerful don living in the slums of Dharavi.
